We try to make the whole business of choosing and
buying your new bed, getting it home and
then getting it assembled, as simple as possible.
Although our beds are designed to be a
simple self-assembly, we understand that
some customers would just prefer not to. While assembling a new bed
may be a simple and pleasurable task to one customer, for another it would be something they'd rather
leave to the experts.
So the rule is, let us know what you want,
and we will do the rest.
Delivery and assembly
When loading our van, the various parts
of your bed are carefully wrapped in blankets
to avoid any chance of damage in transit. This means that the savings
we make in not using cardboard boxes are passed on to you, the customer.
This is the way we've always done it, and it's proved itself extremely
effective.
Whichever of our drivers delivers your bed has
been part of the Taurus team for at least 15 years. The driver will
take the bed right into your bedroom for you and, even though our
beds are simple self-assembly, the driver can assemble the bed for
you, if you wish. There is a small charge of £15 per
bed for this service.
Taking away your old bed
We know that getting rid of an old bed,
or even just of an old mattress, can be
a problem.
If you let us know at the time you place your
order, we can arrange to take away the old bed for you when we're delivering
your new bed, and dispose of it responsibly at authorised amenities.
We offer this service within the London postal
district only, and make a charge of £15 per item (a bed frame and mattress together
thus cost £30) to cover the costs to us.
Collections
We really do advise you to let us deliver
your new bed to you. However, if you do
wish to collect your bed, and have a suitable vehicle in which to
do so, there is a loading bay at the back of our showroom. You must,
however, have ordered your bed in advance, if you wish to collect
it yourself. |
