Wooden Double beds are a universally popular choice,
providing a comfortable sleeping environment
for most average sized couples.
We offer 2 different Double bed sizes. Both
are 6' 3" (190cm) in length, but we can supply
your bed in either the standard Double
width of 4'6" (135cm), or a slightly narrower
4' 0" (120cm)
width which we call the Narrow Double.
All
our beds are available in both of these Double
bed widths.
The only models in our range that are not available
in Double bed sizes are our space saving
solutions: the Trundle,
the Stacker,
the Bunk and
the Cabin.
The advantages of a Double bed
With it's 4'6" width,
a standard Double bed is perfect for most
couples, as well as for solo sleepers who
prefer the space to settle which a Double
bed allows them.
For those who do like a Double bed, but have
restricted space in their bedroom, a narrower
4'0" width Double bed is an excellent solution.
It's worth pointing out, however, that while
4'0" is adequate for accommodating the occasional
guest to one's bed (hence the popularity
of this width with students) it may prove
restrictive as a regular bed for a couple.

Our handmade underbed drawers help
you make use of the valuable space beneath your
Double bed. The drawers have durable wheels fitted
to the underside so they can be rolled in and out
easily. Drawers can be finished in all of our range
of bed finishes, to match your bed perfectly.
