have found that our three Kyoto models are
especially popular with people looking for
Japanese-inspired beds rather than for Japanese
beds themselves.
Kyoto is a cool Japanese inspired
bed whose dimensions are precisely the same
as those of the mattress. There are three
Kyoto models, each styled with contemporary
rounded corner profile.
The Kyoto
Platform emulates the style of low level Japanese beds.
The Kyoto itself
is a normal bed height, but still with a
width matching precisely the width of its
mattress. As many Japanese beds are built
from dark woods, this looks especially authentic
when painted black, or finished in our dark
mahogany lacquer.
The Kyoto
with Headboard adds the more traditional
feel of a headboard, something found less
frequently on Japanese beds.
