Kingsize beds

A Kingsize bed is impossible to beat if you have the space in your bedroom, and love a bed you can lose yourself in.

We offer 2 different Kingsize bed sizes. Both are 6' 6" (200cm) in length, but we can supply your bed in either the standard Kingsize width of 5'0" (150cm), or the 6' 0" (180cm) width sometimes known as a Super Kingsize.

All our beds are available in both of these Kingsize widths.

The only models in our range that are not available in the Kingsizes are our space saving solutions: the Trundle, the Stacker, the Bunk and the Cabin.

The advantages of a Kingsize bed

With it's generous 5'0" or 6'0" width, a Kingsize bed offers all adults who sleep with a partner generous extra room in which to settle.

This extra space decreases the likelihood of your sleep being disturbed by your partenrs movements, resulting in a more restful night and, as a result, greater benefit in the day ahead.

For larger people, (both taller and those carrying a few extra pounds around the middle), the additional room in a Kingsize again represents an attractive option.

It's worth pointing out, too, that those who simply like to have a little extra room in which to play in their bedroom will find a Kingsize bed a true recreational paradise.

A Kingsize mattress for your Kingsize bed

All of our mattresses are available to fit both Kingsize bed widths, so you have complete freedom to choose whichever construction and firmness you prefer.

The extra support in every Kingsize bed

When we build our standard Double and Single width beds, the seasoned pine slats which we use to support the mattress span the full width of the bed, resting on rails at either side.

When we build your Kingsize bed, however, we place an additional support beam down the full length of the bed, from headend to footend. This spreads the load and supports the extra generous Kingsize mattress.
