Zip and Link Beds let you increase
the flexibility of the sleeping arrangements
in a guestroom, or convert a bedroom
to accommodate an extra guest from time
to time.
Using 2 separate single beds which can be
put together, and 2 separate mattresses
which can be joined together with a connecting
zip, a room large enough to allow a little
pulling apart of the two halves can provide
accommodation for either a couple or for two separate individuals.
Zip and Link is usually available only with
divan beds, but our unique Kyoto bed, designed
in such a way that the frame is of only
the same width as the mattress, makes this
possible with an attrractive and more contemporary
wood frame bed, too.
Our Kyoto bed is the only wooden frame bed
on the market which can be purchased in a
Zip and Link configuration.
OUR UNIQUE KYOTO SUPER KING-SIZE ZIP
AND LINK BED
The Zip and Link Kyoto consists of a pair of
identical 3'0" x 6'6" (90cm x 200cm) single
beds (above).
(These can be provided as the standard Kyoto (above
and right top), the Kyoto with
Headboard (right 2nd), or the Kyoto Platform (right 3rd).
The mattresses, which are supplied as a pair,
have the two halves of a zip stitched along
the top and bottom edge of one long side,
allowing the two to be joined together without
creeping apart.
Zip and Link Kyoto mattresses can be supplied
in all of our Taurus Orthopaedic and Taurus
Pocket Sprung models.
When the two halves are placed together, the
result is a Super King-Size Kyoto
bed, measuring 6'0" x 6'6".
ALSO AVAILABLE. 5' WIDTH KING-SIZE
KYOTO ZIP AND LINK BED
All 3 of our Zip and Link Kyoto beds are
also available in a 5' (150cm) King-Size
width (as opposed to the 6' (180cm) Super
King-Size width). Length is still 6'6".
As you'd expect, the two halves separate to
give a pair of 2'6" x 6'6" single beds.
