The Nexus Bed has an eyecatching 'curved joint' design that gives the bed a very contemporary look. We can only actually make this curved joint using modern workshop joinery techniques, so it wouldn't have been possible for your forebears to own a bed like this! The Nexus looks great in all of our finishes and it seems to work especially well in loft-style apartments or bedrooms and sleeping areas that you want to have a more minimal look. For a minimalist bed design, the Nexus has great charm. A very good bed for modern 'city' living.

What people say
"I spent four months looking for a bed I really liked. That's not untypical for me, I should add, but still. The Nexus bed came out top - though it's possible that it was just still my favourite at the point at which I finally ran out of patience :)
It's a really lovely bed. I like its clean, angular modern look, and the contrast of this with the rounded joints on the headboard and foot end. I chose the Teak Lacquer finish to get a very subtle green hue that gives the whole thing a lovey, organic kind of feel.
I've added one long underbed drawer only, as the other side of the bed is actually against the wall. I didn't buy a mattress as I thought I was happy with the one I had already which is about 4 years old... but it's not great and I'm sure I'll upgrade with a new one in a few months."
